IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOUR MICROBLADING ONE PASS TECHNIQUE SESSION
PRE CARE
Make sure you are feeling fit and well before your microblading procedure and please reschedule if you have an out break of coldsores or shingles.

If you are currently taking antibiotics then you will need to have completed your course for at least 2 weeks prior to the microblading procedure.

Please gently exfoliate your brows a few days before the microblading procedure and if the skin is dry please remember to moisturise. But not on day of procedure.

Please let me know if you have any scars, spots or moles in your brows.
This is what we recommend prior to a microblading procedure in order to achieve the best results...
BEFORE
Certain things can thin the blood and cause excessive bleeding which will result in poor pigment deposit so…
1. DO NOT TAN OR HAVE INTENSE EXPOSURE TO THE SUN TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE TREATMENT
2. NO BOTOX OR FILLERS FOUR WEEKS PRIOR
3. DO NOT TAKE FISH OIL OR VITAMIN E ONE WEEK PRIOR (these are natural blood thinners)
4. DISCONTINUE VITAMIN A/RETINOL PRODUCTS TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE PROCEDURE
5. NO WAXING OR TINTING OF THE BROWS TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE TREATMENT
24-48 HOURS BEFORE
1. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE PAIN RELIEF SUCH AS IBUPROFEN OR ASPIRIN (if prescribed by GP then a letter of consent to stop taking these 48 hours prior to the treatment will be required)
2. NO ALCOHOL 24 HOURS PRIOR
3. NO CAFFEINE DRINKS ON THE DAY OF TREATMENT
4. NO EXERCISE PRIOR TO THE PROCEDURE
5. AVOID SPICY FOODS
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING AND AFTER YOUR SESSION
Your new temporary eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle. The pigment will appear very sharp and dark immediately after the procedure. This is because the pigment is still seating on top of your skin and has not yet settled in
completely. The colour of the pigment will soften gradually. Do not be alarmed if you see some pigment in the cotton swab as this is excess pigment and or body fluid that is naturally exiting your skin.

Once the healing of the skin starts taking place it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. This might give you the impression that the colour pigment is fading too quickly, however, this is just superficial colour and dry skin being naturally removed from
your eyebrows. Once completely healed, always apply a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 up to SPF 50 in your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Sun exposure might cause the colour pigment to fade away more quickly.

You can now enjoy your beautiful new temporary eyebrows. You will simply love your new gorgeous fresh look!
MICROBLADING ONE PASS TECHNIQUE AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
1
1
DAY ONE (DAY OF TREATMENT)
First, wash your hands with anti-bacterial soap. You must gently wipe your eyebrows with a cotton pad dampened with cooled boiled water EVERY HOUR until you go to bed after the microblading procedure, pat dry with a clean tissue and apply the post-care cream. Apply the post-care cream with a cotton swab and use no aggressive movement and/or manipulation of the skin.
2
DAY TWO to TEN
Continue to wash your brows daily, morning and night to keep them clean and do not get makeup in them for 10 days. You must apply the post-care cream* in your eyebrows as a barrier before you have a shower and a few times a day with a minimum of at least two times daily. Apply the post-care cream with a cotton swab and use no aggressive movement and/or manipulation of the skin. Make sure your hands are completely clean before caring for your eyebrows.
To keep your microbladed brows looking fresh long term avoid microdermabrasion/chemical peels.
Foundation and powders will spoil the look of your Microbladed strokes making them appear faded and greyish - always wipe your brows thoroughly after applying makeup. Also a light exfoliation of your brows once a week will remove build up of makeup and dead skin keeping your microbladed strokes looking crisp and clear.

*If you are a client with oily skin then only apply a thin layer of post-care cream less frequently.
